Screen segmented?

Display driver NIVIDA Windows Kernel Driver Version 296.10 stopped responding and has successfully recovered. This is what comes up on the screen a few times before the screen becomes un readable.

That message suggest that your video drivers may be corrupted.

I would go to http://www.geforce.com/drivers.
Use the "Auto-detect your GPU" button. This will point you to the correct driver download.
Once you have downloaded it, run the installer and restart your computer when prompted.

If this correct your roblem, you have nothing else to do, your hardware is fine.
