if you lift the n/s cover in front of windscreen you will see fuse box .fuse for fan is in there you should it blown l do not think they have a relay on the older ones .the fan goes thight and blows fuse, spray bearings with wd 40 on fan and free up first.then try by putting a wire across fan switch and get fan running free
