How can i fix my fiesta 1.3 Encore?

Revs up unctrolably between gear shifts. No problem when clutch up but depress pedal and it revs real high.

Mm not sure but as a temparary fix try disconecting the pedle switch,is it fuel injection or on a carboretor?
