Mondeo Bonnet Lock?

I have a Ford Mondeo, with the bonnet lock not working.
Before I remove the lock and replace it with the new one I have, has any body got any trips on building the new lock to suit the key.

The tumblers are not numberd only no1 cut.the rest you have to work out by placing them next to each other you will see the gap between the pin notch and stop nogin, thers 4 difrent cuts/gaps 1 beig smallest 4 being largest, you will have to read your key,put pencill over end with cuts deepest will be 4 no cut is ,biuld wright way and test befor locking all together, chances are you wont get it right first time, one tumbler then a washer, spring washer in last, good luck,

your key will have a number like T142341,the lock has numbered discs to suit the key number that you have, fit these in the correct sequence into the barrell, you may be better to strip the old lock and pay close attention to the parts and how they are removed and in what order.
