how can I reset entry time to 20 secs?

When set on part alarm goes off instantly on opening door. Need to extend access time. Manual settings don't work.

Which was obvious, no need for the unemployed maccy d`s persons to chip in.

Alarm to entry on the FE in part.

Then Ann ,needs to reprogramme the system to suit her own needs.

I love this answer

"Yes and it should do,why would you want to give an intruder time to access your home (via door) whilst you are upstairs in the land of nod ?."

Perhaps because he/she is asleep and their partner in on late nights?

Although scoobs is almost correct, his attitude is one of SD`s.
Another fool thinking he knows all about alarm systems.
As for OMG. Well the name says it all.

Will the non security experts ( you know who you are, go away) your attitudes and lacking are painful to read.

Alarm, May 2012
At least scoobes has solved the problem don't know what your doing here see there's a few of us asking the same question ever tried the lonely hearts
xxx

Omg, May 2012
scoobie ,do one

Ann your factory default setting on part set is your problem your door changes to alarm from an entry as in your full set.
You need programme part set zone 1 as entry/exit and maybe change zone 2 to same you would need someone to do this it's couple mins job

Secondly these guys using this site to chat amongst themselves or be abusive should take their weak minds somewhere else ie. Get lost.

Scoobes, May 2012
ditto !

gts, May 2012
Ann, what is your control panel and which door is it that is causing the problem?

Answers to these 'might' illicit sensible answers, except from SD of course, he does not even know what an alarm system is, e manno will soon learn this.

Be flexible, perhaps circumstances have changed, disabled in some way perhaps?

There are reasons for having longer entry times you know.

acorn, May 2012
Yes and it should do,why would you want to give an intruder time to access your home (via door) whilst you are upstairs in the land of nod ?.

I take it that the part set function disables your chosen pirs upstairs, giving you the freedom to move around, and downstairs remain active.

Or have I been programming/partitioning alarm wrongly for all these years.

SD, you can put your ball away for this one.

e manno, May 2012
Just trying to warm up my crystal ball.

No sorry, blown a fuse again. all the questions on here with NO details
