My generater iron does not steam there is water in the generater?

Tefal generater. Iron warms up but does not steam

no steam coming from iron and water leaking from base. it is a morthy richards jet steamelite, model number 42288. 230-240v-50-60HZ. 2020-2200W. SERIAL NO 80002453. Do beleive my iron is still under guarantee but have no proof of purchase, could you please contact me to advice how best to get my product repaired please.
