Filter not sealing?

I've had my Candy O for 5 months and today I checked the filter, it was clear, but when I replaced it it won't re-seal so now I have water running out of the bottom whenever I turn the machine on. What am I doing wrong?

I had the same problem. Check that the inner plastic guides are straight. These tend to buckle due to extreme heat and need to be reshaped when going back in. I emersed the back end of the condenser into near boiling water for a minute making the plastic soft and held it in a straightened position until it cooled off. Now try to re-insert.

You have probably cross threaded the plug. Undo the filter completely, check the rubber seal is not damaged and screw it in holding it as straight as possible. Try different starting positions when screwing the plug in by turning it anti clockwise first.
