The agitator does not move as it should. But, if I push laterally against the top of the agitator with my hand, it will start agitating. When I take my hand away, it stops moving again. It's a Whirlpool "Clean Touch" 8 cycle - 2 Speed, Heavy Duty - Super Capacity "Plus".

there is a cush drive between the motor and gearbox that can bust if the machine is overloaded, to check if this is ok you need to remove the pump followed by the motor
