When my F&P eco smart washer was 4 months old it would not drain. It was under warranty and the tech repaired it, he said the drain was clogged.
Now 4 years later, it will not drain again.
What can I do?
Thanks,
Tony p
You are right Sir, the copper wire is burnt. But, I did not find any trash, coins, paper clips, or anything else in the pump area. Do they just go bad?
Thanks,

Pump was probably blocked and by turning it on and leaving it running it has now overheated & burnt out. You will need to manually remove as much water as possible by hand with a jug. Then when it is light enough to lift, get someone to help carry outside & tip it back against a wall. Look underneath on front right corner & locate pump. Remove the wiring plug and then the pump. Quarter turn clockwise then it will drop out and last of water will fall out. Inspect pump. Any sign of burning or change in colour of copper wire then replace it.

Update: I unplugged the washer, waited a few seconds, plugged it back in, turned it on, pushed start, it started to drain, stopped draining and then SMOKE came up from the back....I UNPLUGGED IT!
