I have a Citroen c2 vts 57reg I started it up and it had a missfire and the anti pollution light and engine light where on and when taking it for a drive the top line of the fuel gauge was going off and on thanks .
more than likely it will be the coil pack a code read will tell you what the fault was .only the peugeot origanal coil packs seem to sort out the problems.the factor ones seem to through up so many faults you never guess they would cause. your first step now is take off the old and fit new peugeot one.if it alright which 70% of the time they are bin the old one

The problem is, it's a French car, and as everyone knows, except the people who buy them, electrics on French cars, are a nightmare to fix. Best go to a main stealership to get it put on a code reader.
