How can I fix AEG Oko favorit 50700 with c3 triggered?

Machine leaked following a blockage which Ive cleared. Im sure there is no longer a problem but cant re-set the machine which now pumps continually and shows C3 Leak Prevention System warning. Any idea how to cancel this? Will cost £46 to get engineer out so any advice gratefully received.

The C3 error message is triggered by a float in the bottom of the dishwasher.

If the water level in this trap is too high the C3 message is triggered and the pump will continue to opperate. This should mean that if a major leak occurs the pump continues until you can stop the water flowing.

In most cases you will need to remove the back / top and side pannels to access any leaks. Once the leak has been stopped you can remove the water from the bottom trap.

Once the bottom trap is clear of water the C3 message will stop.
