How can I fix my Bosch Classixx maxx SGS43CO2GB/35?

Programmes seem confused, water cold for quick wash temperature should be 35C and at 65C wash programmes both 'over run' by c.45 mins

ok best of luck ,its got to be easier than tomb raiding Lara! (sorry couldnt resist that one :-) let me know if you have any success we never get any feed back. Cheers p.s. forgot to say mop out the water inside the machine under the filter before you remove the clear hose from chamber to sump.

Cheers kenjo - looks like my week-end job has been sorted for me! Many thanks for you efforts either way as after this it will be the local Bosch man !. Lara

Hi Lara its easy for me to do as i am Bosch engineer but dont want to underestimate an eco warrier so this is how step by step :- Unplug machine, remove lid by pushing up plastic lug about 2" in from each side at back and push back lid at same time, remove both side panels 2 screws at front edge of each (T20 Torx screwdriver), Remove outer metal door 3 screws each side starting at bottom, remove bottom plastic kickplate 1 screw each side, remove steel plate behind it and matting, remove top plastic corners left side of machine, front one unclips back one has screw inside it,you will see large square plastic water jacket on left side remove the 2 metal bars holding it in place now be very careful the side of the jacket facing the machine is wafer thin dont pierce it, put bowl on floor and lift jacket out and away WATER WILL POUR OUT OF ITS SPOUTS so you must catch this in the bowl leave hoses attached, just to the front of this is the pressure chamber with 2 micro switches mark plugs or photograph these and remove, prize up chamber and remove also clear hose that runs from it to the sump, clean sludge from hose, photograph chamber in case you forget how to reassemble it, remove top micro switch and little black arm, prize off top of chamber and clean out remove and clean red float and black plastic insert, now you are ready to reassemble points to watch are :- make sure black "O" rings are in place when you refit water jacket spouts in them, push clear front hose fully home each end and in clip, dont forget red plastic rod which fell out of chamber when you lifted it up ,then reassemble everything in strict reverse order you removed them, job done. Well you did ask! (sounds a lot but i can do it in about 45 mins including including coffee) am more worn out writing this than doing job! Cheers

Hi kenjo
thank you, I would welcome more details as im a keen eco warrior and would prefer to repair rather than replace first ! is it easy to get to and do i access via the front panel or is it a dismantale job?

lara, June 2012
Will be one of 2 things :- first and most common is the pressure chamber on the left hand side of the machine and the clear hose that runs from it to the sump is blocked with sludge, this causes low water level in the machine which in turn prevents the heater from operating and elongates the program which is then cold. If not this, could be faulty element. Dont know your capabilities but if you need more instructons let me know Cheers
