How do I change the belt on a Kenmore 158.330 sewing machine?
I bought an old Kenmore 158.330 sewing machine that needs a belt. I found the belt online through Sears but cannot locate an instruction manual or service manual to show me how to replace the belt I just bought.
If you loosen up the bolt for the engine you should be able to move it towards the machine and that should loosen the belt enough to replace it. I'm not sure if that's the "proper" way, but it worked for me. And then tighten it back up afterwards.
