How can I fix my Neff oven - replaced element and now got another problem?

I have replaced my Neff oven element - simple or so I thought. When I had replaced it and I switched back on at the mains, I heard a pop. I then turned dials and nothing happened so turned them off and switched off at the mains. When I switched on at the mains again the fan turned on without the dials on the oven being turned on but when I turn the dial to bring the oven to temperature the fan turns off. Help!!!

If you knew what you were doing it would be simple thing to go back over what you did and recheck that all wiring is where it should be and not touching anything else. After all it was okay before you attempted to replace the element so it must be something you have done wrong. You sound like you don't know what you are dealing with and so should not be doing it yourself. Get someone in to sort it out before you kill someone.

is the new element ok? did it blow,, did you get the wireing right, what went pop , was it the element or the trip switch, knock the power ff , and take the element out again and check it,
