My zanussi washer dyer is making a real racket when it dries and for a moment or two when spinning -it doesn't appear to have lost efficiency just an irritating screeching! Any suggestions

Main bearings are gone and need replacing. Major strip down of tub to get at shaft and bearings. Expensive so phone around and ask for prices before committing to one repairer.
