steamer working with irritating sound model ME 290?

my steamer , if i switched on then it produce irritating sound like krrrriiiiii

sound is the pressure pump that pump water to iron,it is possible that water from iron drain back to resevoir if resevoir is almost empty.if iron still produce enough steam do not worry to much but be sure to keep filter clean
