I have a daf 45 horsebox and the 12v aux which i use for the sat nav (next to the handbrake) and the cd player which is also 12v has stopped working and I cannot find the dropper or an in line fuse? there is quite a heavy seperate red cable coming from one of the two 12v batteries but I cannot follow it fully? i have also removed the cab dash and there is no sign of the dropper there either?...Can anyone help?

Hi the dc-dc converter or dropper is behind the passenger dash
You gain access from the bonnet area on the right remove the black plastic cover 10mm bolts I think
I had this fail due to a poorly replaced windscreen leaking water into the converter killing it blowing fuse etc on dash left side I think..
I purchased an aftermarket one and that's what mine runs on now
