I hit the till with my elbow by accident like a fool and the reciept says £1.50 gt. I definitely hit one of the buttons on the right hand side and now it just errors all the time.Tried clearing it and turning it off and on. Please help if you can, I know it is an old model :)

No joy doing that,still errors when I try to ring anything in.The weird thing is it seems to work in the afternoons, is there some way that I could have time locked it? and if so how do I fix it? It is a really old till!!

It can be tricky with the old models because they don't give much indication of the error.

First try turning the key to REG or R mode.
If the error is on the display, try pressing clear to remove it. Then press 1 on the numeric pad, then CLERK ID button. If no error, try making a sale.
