I service these machines for a living near pittsburgh pa I gather your aware the reverse button is the yellow one on the back of the machine near the power cord?
in such cases its generally easiest to loosen and remove the drive chain so all rollers are free to turn. but first try splitting the film between the heat red rollers and the grey exit rollers. the red rollers are NOT driven. if the film is stuck to the red rollers let the machine heat for 45 minutes before trying to peel it off.. peeled cold can destroy the rollers, the film can adhere to the rollers and remove the surface of the rollers:(
