How to change the oil and filter on my Vauxhall Corsa 1.0 12v 1999?

I am going to atempt an oil change over the weekend on my Vauxhall Corsa and would like to know if there were any useful tips to aid me. The car is a vauxhall Corsa 1.0l, 12v V reg (1999/2000) also how to change the oil filter? and possibly the air filter!

Many thanks in advance

on the top next to the engine is a black culinder with a 32mm nut on top inside is the oil filter, underneath the engine is the oil sump, basically a large metal box, look carefully and you will see a bolt on the underside this is the sump nut, first get a washin up bowl or something similar to catch the old oil and place this uner the sump, open the oil filler cap on top of the engine and slowly undo the sump nut, let the old flow outwhen it has slowed to a thin drizzle open the oil filter box, mentioned earlier and take the old filter out and replace with a new one including the seal wipe some new oil around the seal before replacing the filter, any further questions mail me , have the same car, good luck, oh yeah get some rubber gloves you will get messy
