Washing machine keeps blowing main fuse in house?

I have a WD71 hotpoint which sounds like it has water stuck in the bottom of it but I can not remove the water because every time I turn the machine on it blows a fuse in the main fuse box.

if it blows a fuse when you switch it on it sounds like the drum bearing seal has broken and leaking water onto the motor terminals look at the back of the drum to see if there are water stains running down the drum the motor is usually situated under the drum so the water will run onto motor contacts if this is the case it will be an expensive repair
