Was on my aerox I locked my back brake up which cut the bike out, thought it ran out of fuel so put fuel in and still won't start, my bike is usually first kick start and very quick with electric start but doesn't sound like it even wants to start

hi i have put a 70s stage 6 mk2 sports kit on my yamaha aerox, aswell as a 21mm dell carb and vforce 3 reeds and it wont start, there is petrol going through the carb but my spark plug is dry.
any suggestions ?

This could be a fuel problem from your vacuum pump to the carb take the spark plug out put abit of petrol in and then try start it if it kicks over then change your vacuum pump :)

the reed valve is probably the cause of this you nead to take the carb off then the three screws holding the inlet maifold in place. in there you will find the reed valves they can break up especially if the bike has been de restricted

does it have compression,i mean do you feel a strong resistance on your foot when you kick it over ?and has it been standing for a while and not been started?
