thanks it looks like it is the brushes in the motor so we've ordered them. Your reply was a great help as we wouldn't have know where to start!

Cant remember this model or light code but usual probs are filter/pump blocked or brushes in the motor worn out or door switch faulty, worth checking these if no one else can advise you the specific fault. Cheers
