i have a phone company that specialise in repairs.
D500 is not that easy to change and you do risk damaging the cable connector in the process.
i suggest you take it to a reputable store.

HI i had to buy a new cover from donnington market, but not many would fit it as its too hard and risky,so i had to take the phone and the cover to a shop in leicester that gave it a go.
