Hello,

I changed the battery in the key fob for the LDV Maxus and the light on the fob now works but it doesn't appear to be registered as it doesn't unlock the van. Any ideas? It is an original key fob. I am wondering if it has forgotten it's 'pairing' to the van?

I have tried that and it didn't work. :( I don't know how to try it out on a test unit though.

Assuming that you have tried the remote on a test unit to ensure that there is a signal coming from the fob. Try pointing the fob at the ecu / immobilizer normally above the interior mirror and hold down the lock button for 10 seconds then the unlock button for 10 seconds you may have to do this 3 or 4 times
