boiler cuts off and red boiler shut down light comes on after a few seconds of switching boiler on resulting in no hot water or ch...ferolli modena 80e...press reset and boiler kicks in for a few seconds then shuts down

if the boiler lights and shuts down it sounds like a gas related issue, if you can see it light and still continue to spark it is not recognising the boiler has lit. Possible pcb issue or electrode, need to be sure there is enough gas too (is there strange noise from gas meter when it lights??)
