my dryers not working so thought it was the switch, on taking the lid off i noticed black markings on lid looked at area where it had come from an its like a sliver foil thing thats black an fraid,,,,,any1 know wot it is
It is the mains filter or interferance suppressor is another name for it. If you can see the foil it has blown its innerds out and needs to be replaced. Cheers
