hi bob been looking at the problem, its still there but i did notice that when i have no power on ie no keys in it, i could hear a click every now and then and when it does click it puts a voltage onto that fuel shut off soleniod and then removes it. not sure why or whats causing it. Im thinking about just running and power supply from the battery via a swicth to the solenoid, what do you think

not a lot that i have come across.the ing switch causes a few faults if you put the key in turn to place you can push up clips to pull out .remove small bolt first pull out lock and 2 screws hold ing switch in,spray with contact cleaner work a bit for it to go in and sometimes screws are loose.if you can test the live feed and this has not worked run a new live to pump soliniod

No key pad defo is a problem with the power to the solenoid as I check with meter, what's in the system to fail and how can I trouble shoot it

its usually the deisel pipe from the bleeding bulb to the filter housing its rubber and cracks and lets air in.if you still have a fault still does it have a key pad if so is that working.if it is the one with coded keys the reader round the ing switch can go faulty but then i would not expect it to start.most of the ones we do its the pipe.if you still have a promlem ask agian above this answer
