nissan primera 1.6 engine dies?

Ihad a new water pump put on my car and the fuel gage checked now the car will only go for about a mile the abs light comes on and the car just stops when i try to restart it seems that the battery is dead please help

This may be your alternator is not charging your battery. Check the belt for the alternator is tight. Also if you can, check the current at the battery whilst the engine is running. This should be about 14 volts. If it is not you have a charging problem (alternator, electrical connections, or alternator belt)
