Do I pursue Howdens to get this free or is it not worth the hassle ?
Add me to the list. Yesterday my inner glass door on the Lamona Electric oven HJA 3300 shattered making a really bad mess all over the oven and kitchen. And the lasange I had cooking in the oven, had to be thrown away as shards of glass had imbedded into it. Howdens referred me to Lamona who have said £60 -£70.00 for a new glass panel. I am not at all happy as I dont think this is something that should happen, it must be a design fault. The man on the phone said it happens to 1 in a 1000 but looking at the reviews below I dont think this is correct.
