I bought a Hoover Maxi 6 Tumble Dryer TC 50 on auction. Don't seem to be agents in south africa. Anyone know where I can get a manual?

Hi, it seems the water tank is always empty..any ideas why?..there is also a grinding noise when dryer is rotating backwards :/. Would be grateful for any advice, thank you.
