my washing machine has stopped mid cycle, theres no whirring or buzzing its just silent. ive tried to start another cycle it starts up but then stops. a wire from a bra snapped in the machine the other day and i can only find half of it. it has worked several times since this happed

remove filter bottom right and shine a torch in to the filter housing and check the drain pump impeller rotates freely.water will come out!
