Timer volume on Belling 646H cooker?

The timer volume is usually reasonably loud but after accidentally pressing some buttons whilst cleaning, the volume is very low. We have managed to fix this problem in the past by fiddling with the buttons, but can't remember how to do it this time. Please can someone help? Thank you

Did the same thing and I, too, managed to fix it then but can't do again. I thought you pressed the up and down buttons but this is not working!!
