A piece of hedge got stuck in the blades of my Black and Decker GT360 hedge trimmer. Now when I switch on the blades do not work and I just get a humming noise.
Any ideas how to fix ?

Sounds like the blades are bent ! Strip down the blade assembly from the electric motor end and see if it moves in and out freely if not this is the cause. you may be able to mallet the cuttilg blades flat on a metal surface, you will know when they are free.... If not its a trip to BQ or Home Depot !
