Let,s narrow this tamper "t"down for you: it's not on your control panel nor your RPK nor your outside sounder, or i would imagine it would be displaying the tamper location.
I would think it's either a PIR, or other interior monitoring device, loose PIR something like that,or a fault with the wiring(cut, damaged or a nail through it).
Also a buggered control battery can cause a multitude of issues, eventhough the panel is set up to throw a "bf" but they don't always detect depending on the battery status or internal fault. Any goog act battery tester can put it through it's paces and detect and show an internal fault, well usually.
The sun worshiper has also given you something to think about here DIY carpets etc, and of course the service,or maybe in your case the lack of one :(
