cpu fan not working Advent 5303?

i have an advent 5303 laptop,it keeps shutting off because the fan won't work,i installed a new fan,but still does'nt work,any suggestions?

Make sure that the fan is properly connected and that it's whires are intact.
It's realy easy to shift the connector by a single pin. If that's the case, you are only connecting the ground and sensor, or power and sensor and it won't work.
