how can i fix my very bad oil leak on my renault scenic 1.9dti 1998?

I've just bought a scenic 1.9dti 1998. And notice a patch of oil on my drive I checked and tightened everything and still I'm loosing lots of oil. The only place i think I can be coming from is seals it bottom of engine. Please can anyone help?

My son has a 1.9 dci and he had a bad oil leak, it turned out to be the sump gasket but you have to take all sorts off to replace it subframe etc, he took it in and it cost him £150, i was going to attempt it untill i read the manual and decided against it, Good Luck.

if front of engine-crank pulley seal,if g/box end, could be crank seal also which would mean g/box removal,it may be none of these, you will have to get cleaning and maybe put clean cardboard under engine overnight and that may give you a better idea where your leak is
