Hiya, the best and cheapest option is to join the RAC, it`s only about £39 a lot lot cheaper than a dealer code reading, they will put a code reader on and tell you exactly what is wrong and if your lucky fix it for you, i have had this problem in the past and even with the glow plug light on it turned out to be the EGR valve was carboned up, taking it off and cleaning it is pretty easy and it will restore performance, take your time and follow the manual, if you haven`t got one then get one, second hand on ebay about a tenner well worth it, Good Luck

The ecu has detected a fault and you will need to get it onto the correct code reader to find the fault, as it's a renault!!! you might find you can only read the codes correctly with the dealers equipment, as renault have a habit of not using the eobd standard
