beko dvc663 fan oven not working?

hi my wife tried to turn it on and theres no light coming on .everything else on the cooker is working fine.my wife thought there was a smell of fish around the time she turned it on.i checked the cooker socket alll the wires are connected right.any help appreciated...cheers mike
