which oil do i use to do a oil change on my 2007 sprinter mileage is 132,000 is it 5w 30 or is it 10w 40 i know it must be a low ash

Use 10/40w for normal conditions. If you are in a colder region, say around -8C for longer periods go to 5/30.
As your vehicle has a few miles under its belt going too thin with the oil could well drop the pressure and harm the engine

YOU know it must be low ash. BUT not the viscosity.

AS I do not know where you are, I cannot comment. Different viscosities with climate.
