my freinds car had the same problem , different make" but when i turned the key to on, and slapped the dash with my hand , it filckerd on and off, that told me it had a loose wire, on the dash, it was easy to get at in his car, so i just pushed it back on to its clip, and it was fine, but some cars dash can be hard to get at, as for the fuse i would start there first, now sometimes one fuse can run two or more things on your car , there is not a fuse for everything, it should be a 15amp fuse, if you know were the fuse box is? you can check them one at a time, have the key out of the car, start with the 15amp ones , take them out one at a time and look through the top of the fuse, if the wire that runs across it is snaped well that fuse is gone"replace it" 50 pence" make sure that you put them back into the same slot, as you check them ,
