Copper?? pipes coming from Air Cylinder Iveco Horsebox?

Ive paid to have a horsebox body changed from an old Iveco chassis to a newer one and have been basically left with a nightmare. We are nearly there now, rectifying the mess (and paying again :() thats been left but under the skirt near the batteries there are the ends of 2 copper looking pipes that we presumed were to be connected to the gas bottle as they are heading in this direction, but on closer inspection Im told they come from the air cylinder! There is another pipe coming off the cylinder too which Im told are the brakes. The current horsebox has all mod cons, heating, hot water etc and the new chassis was previously a luxury horsebox with more mod cons so the pipes may have been left over from that???. It has recently passed its MOT with no problems but Im worried now what these pipes are. The person who has been helping me with the electrics, discovered the pipes and is guessing about them as he isnt a mechanic.
Any ideas please?
