I have a Peugeot 206,which keeps cutting out?

The oil pressure warning light has just started to come on, on my 'W' reg, peugeot 206.
This is followed by a stop sign, and the car cuts out.
It starts adain, but if you try and drive it, it cuts out again
Any ideas please?

I have the same problem with my W reg 206. I took it into a garage who said he thought it might br the idle time control valve, but wasn't sure.

my 206 LX style 2001 did the same. at 31,000 miles, try getting the valve checked, that sorted mine.

yeah my car does the same, apparently its the crankshaft or camshaft sensors which is the problem. Although it could be many different problems such as fuel pump, filter, mis-firing, injector etc etc. Hopefully when i have my sensors checked they'll fix it. Update soon!
