my freezer has started freezing up?

my hotpoint iced diamond approximately 8 years old has started freezing up i.e. icicles have been forming between baskets and "snow" is appearing

ice and powder snow usually is due to the door seal not sealing properly and allowing air to get in.check door seals.can you feel any suction when you try pulling door open?
