hi,
i have a patio heater that runs on butane gas, has been sitting in garden not used for three years. tried to start but only pilot flame comes on, turn the gas up and only small amount of gas comes through !
loads of gas in bottle, does the gas expire the same as petrol does ? ?

Look for an air port under the burner where the injector sits, the tube up into the burner is probably full of cobwebs or something, rake them out with a hook made of SOFT wire.
