What do the lights mean on my dashboard?

I have a Renault Clio 2001 and recently when I'm driving the STOP warning light and the HANDBRAKE warning ligh keep flashing on at the same time. It only seems to happen when I accelerate or take a long corner at high speeds. My manual does not mention this and I need to know what's wrong with the car before I can fix it. Please help!
