I have a performance plus baby lock machine and when you lower the presser foot the feeder dogs and the presser foot don' t press against each other so the fabric won't feed. How can i repair it myself?please help!

have you tried adjusting pressure on the pressure foot by turning the knob above the needle bar.if that does not help you will have to open side panel and find the screw holding the pressure foot shaft,if you loosen it you may be able to lower shaft ,be carefull not to lett it slip to much
