How to change fuse?

I have a Janome Memory Craft 8000. On day it came on the next day it would not. Was told that there was a fuse that might be out. Can I do this myself or will it have to go to the shop?

remove top,right side panel,bottom panel and find the black box.fuse normally inside good hunting
