How to fix my craftsman LT 1000 since it will not go into any gear? ?
My craftsman LT1000, will not go into any gear. The gears grinds when I try to place it in a forward gear or place it in reverse. All I hear is the grinding of the gears. The level will not shift into the reverse or shift into any of the forward number from 5 to 1. I do not know as to what could be the cause of this problem. The engine runs fine and the level is hard to move into any position except netural. Can someone please explain as to what could be the problem with this riding lawnmower tractor?
