focus 56 reg 1.8 tdci 115 hp
just replaced T belt and water pump but having great trouble in bleeding the air from the cooling system. there are no bleed screws/nipples. drained appox. 5 litres of coolant and can only fill it with 4 litres (header tank full), engine reaches temp. and fan has cut in, rad is cold and no hot air through blower (heater control set to max temp). all advice welcome

No bleed point, so crack open the highest point joint, until water comes out. But that might not be your problem.
